Ginger is flowering plant whose a rhizome. Ginger is widely used as a traditional medicine as well in cooking. Ginger has many positive health benefits, one of which is to eliminate belly fat and lose weight. Ginger can help you feel full, so by eating ginger, will help to curb excessive appetite.

Hormonal changes and severe stress may cause a surge in blood cortisol levels, which can degrade system of immunity, worse your metabolism, and contribute to increasing body weight. According to an article in Biological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin of 2004, ginger can suppress the cortisol level spikes.

How to consume ginger for weight loss

Before eating, chew a thin slice of ginger. This will help expedite the body's metabolism, stimulates digestion, reducing the production of cortisol and improve energy.

You can also grate a small piece of ginger by adding a squeeze of lemon juice and a little salt.
Consume this ginger mixture before you eat. It is believed to control appetite and improve digestive health.  

You can also mix ginger to the lemon tea as a healthy beverage. Ginger can also be used as a spice in cooking. Cook ginger up to 6 minutes will increase its health benefits.

Not only for lose weight, ginger can also be used as an anti-inflammation, reduce nausea, vomiting and even kill cancer cells. Ginger can also be a drink to detoxify the body and fight other diseases.
