This Backyard Plant Has Amazing Benefits

This plant is often seen in the backyard of our house. We often ignore, even stepped or pull it out. This plant is named Dandelion. It is easy to grow in the backyard. Unfortunately, these plants are often negligible, even though dandelion has many benefits for the health of our body.

All parts of this plant from the roots, leaves to the flowers, each of which has different health benefits. Leaves and roots contain vitamins A, D, C and B complex and other essential minerals needed by our body. In most traditional herbs
treatment, roots of dandelion were used to treat liver and gallbladder problems.

The root of the dandelion is often burned and used in tea or consumed as a whole. The leaves are great for making salad or dishes that require greenery and flowers (while still yellow). Dandelion is also useful to cure a physiological reaction that is triggered by the intense emotion that causes eye strain,swollen and painful eyes.

  1. Natural Detoxification

    Dandelion has been used for many years by various people for healthy liver function and detoxification in the body naturally. Although it was not yet clinically proven, many people already use dandelion to treat hepatitis. 
  2. Female health and hormone balance

    Due to the high nutrition of dandelion, this plant is also used by those who are experiencing hormonal imbalance, urinary infection and recurrent mastitis. Although not tested well, but the women have proven successful in remedy recurring UTIs and other infections.
  3. Clean the skin

    Dandelion can be used topically in applications such as tinctures and poultices. Many people also take in capsule or tea form to help support skin health. 
  4. Balancing blood sugar

    Based on animal experiments, dandelion shown to normalize blood sugar and cholesterol in diabetic mice. Further research is needed to see whether the dandelion can work well in humans. Research in some animals also showed that dandelion may help fight inflammation.

How to use dandelion

You can take advantage of dandelion's root as a coffee substitute. Mash the root of dandelion until smooth, then brewed with warm water. You can also make a tea of dandelion. Use root and leaves to make a cup of tea. Because dandelion has a strong flavor, combined with other herbs.
