Our body needs cholesterol in order to function properly, but in a reasonable amount, not excessive. Because the higher level of cholesterol, the higher risk of heart disease. There are 2 types of cholesterol in the body; good cholesterol, or better known as HDL (high density lipoprotein) and bad cholesterol or better known as LDL (Low density Lipoprotein).

1. Exercise

Every adult needs at least 30 grams of fiber every day. One of the food rich in fiber is oatmeal. When ingested, fiber is associated with cholesterol and prevents its absorption into the bloodstream. In this way, fiber will lower LDL levels in the blood. One to two bowls of cooked oatmeal daily will lower your cholesterol levels significantly. To make oatmeal more nutritious, just add some fresh fruit or beans.

3. Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a potent anti-cholesterol. According to the study, cinnamon can reduce cholesterol levels by 18 percent, while reducing blood sugar levels. One way to process cinnamon is in the form of tea.
