Without the kidneys the body will not be able to :

  • Maintain blood flow to keep it balanced
  • Maintaining minerals and water levels at optimum levels
  • Use vitamin D and support your bones
  • Support the production of red blood cells and provide enough oxygen to the cells
  • Eliminating chemicals, toxins, and wastes

Early signs of kidney failure

  • Weak and tired
  • Difficult and painful urination
  • Foamy urine
  • Urine is dark or there is blood in the urine
  • Frequent urination, especially at night
  • Eye swelling
  • Often thirsty

Here are some negative factors that can affect your kidney function, therefore you should stop doing it :

  1. Consume too much coffee

Caffeine found in coffee can damage the kidneys if the amount is excessive, because it can cause hypertension and make your kidneys work harder. This can lead to some serious consequences in the long run. A recent study has revealed the relationship between excessive amounts of caffeine and kidney stones, because caffeine can increase the excretion of calcium in the urine. The optimal dose is 1-2 cups of coffee and 3 cups of tea a day.
  2. Not drink enough water

If you do not drink enough water, your kidneys will start to break down. One of the main functions of the kidneys is to remove toxins and the rest of the body's metabolism and regulate the production of erythrocytes. So, if you do not have enough water in the body, the blood will be more concentrated and the blood flow to the kidneys will decrease. This will affect the ability of the kidneys to remove toxins from the body, which ultimately leads to accumulation of toxins in the body.
  3. High consumption of salt

Salt can cause significant damage to the kidneys and damage your general health. High sodium consumption makes your kidneys work harder to remove excess salt. As a result, kidney function is reduced and leads to water retention in the body. On the other hand, it can also increase blood pressure, which can worsen the health of your kidneys.
  4. Lack of sleep

According to experts, adults should get 6-8 hours of sleep each night. Lack of sleep can have a damaging effect on the long term. When you sleep, your organs will regenerate. So, if you are less of sleep, the regeneration process will be blocked, resulting in kidney damage and other organs. Your kidneys will operate perfectly if you have healthy sleeping habits.
