Maybe you want to check occasionally to make sure the asbestos is intact or not. Do not touching asbestos, take a look at it, check for abrasions, water damage, and rips. These things can be signs that some fiber has been released.

After the professionals do its job and find that your house is made of materials containing asbestos and harm, then you have two options, repair or removal.

Repairing it

There are two things you can do in this selection:

1. Sealing asbestos

It is also called the encapsulating. The trick is to cover all the asbestos material with a sealant that binds the asbestos fibers and covering them with a layer that prevents the release of fiber. This option is often used in pipes and boiler insulation.

2. Closing asbestos

Also called by enclosing. This is done by wrapping the asbestos with protective outer jacket. The advantage of these repair option is less expensive. But the disadvantages, asbestos is still there, in that place.

Removing it

In this method, must be done by a professional who qualified, knowledgeable, experienced and master equipment to remove asbestos. This method should be selected if asbestos is too broad, dangerous and not allowed to repaired.
